With our help, the last thing on your mind will be the Freshman 15 or the Sophomore 10 (or whatever you guys say these days!). We've got to give you the BEST tips on how to save up & eat healthy
, while keeping that little extra mula to go out on the weekends! One of our favorite hacks for college food is POWER SNACKS
! Ever heard of them?? Yeah, it's fairly new to us too. But once you get the hang of it, you'll never go back! So let's get to it! Power snacks are specific to studying. You're going to have some late nights & early mornings, so if you're on a tight budget, it's going to get hard to keep your energy up! Let's check out these 8 Power Snacks
that will get your through the hard times:
1. Honey, Almond Butter & Strawberries

thekitchykitchen.com[/caption] All you need is some bread (preferably wheat, which you can get a loaf for SUPER cheap at Kroger) and the ingredients above. Pop two pieces of bread in the toaster, spread your favorite almond butter on there, chop up some strawberries & drizzle honey on top! Not only is this an amazingly delicious snack, it's packed with all natural energy boosters! YUM!
2. More toast! With avocado this time (;

5. Honey Nut Energy Bites

So you can do this!!!! If you put in the extra effort for these honey nut balls, they'll last you the whole week! So definitely safe these amazing power houses for your exam week! That way, you'll be set to study late every single night! These are packed with protein, so you're guaranteed to GET SH** DONE!
6. Make your own trail mix!!

That way, you have a Power Snack full of fiber AND protein to help you pull that all-nighter!! All of these Power Snacks require only a few ingredients!
